Shopgenie & Kelkoo (co-founder) 1998 - 2004

I launched the UK's first price comparison engine in December 1998 from my student bedroom, raised £150,000 angel investment and grew it to 14 people before we accepted a deal to merge with new European startup Kelkoo in 2000.   Sold to Yahoo in 2004 for £320m

genieVentures (co-founder) 2004 - 2014

A vertical search comparison business and idea incubator.  Latest portfolio includes Broadbandgenie (broadband deal comparison), Crowdstorm (long tail price comparison and shopping discovery), and Officegenie (find great places to work).  Sold to my business partner in 2014.

Keynoir (co-founder & Product Director) 2009 - 2011

A high-end daily deal experiences site started with ex-colleagues from the Kelkoo days.  We were the first to feature Michelin starred restaurants from Gordon Ramsay alongside luxury spa's and weekend country retreats.   Became a saturated market very quickly from both the customer and merchant side.    Sold to Timeout in 2011

Kopi (co-founder & CEO) 2012 - 2014

A brand new subscription e-commerce business, with a different premium coffee delivered every month to thousands of subscribers.  Built an amazing product in the luxury treat segment.  Sold to Cafedirect in 2014
